The Board

Stepping Stones is a not for profit, incorporated association governed by a voluntary Board of Directors whose aim is to put children first. Stepping Stones is a registered Charity (102354) and Limited Company (NI010464) which was founded in 1974. The Board is made up of parents, both current and former. In order to fulfil our obligations under Employment, Company and Charity Law we operate robust controls and ensure that good governance practice is embedded in day to day operational management.

Get Involved!

Stepping Stones works in partnership with parents to put the needs of each individual child first and ensure that both parents and children are supported daily. The Board currently meets once every month and holds an Annual General Meeting.

If you, as a parent, would like to get involved and join our Board of Directors or would like to find out a bit more/have any questions, please get in contact with the creche Manager for further details or come to a monthly meeting.

Help Us

There are several ways you can help the creche grow and develop. You can volunteer your time either as a member of the Board of Directors, or by using any special skills or talents you have to run mini workshops for the children! Parents are always welcome to come and help out in the rooms and to join us on any trips.
